Things to Do Kingsland
Restored to reflect the vibrancy and fashion of the 1920s, downtown Kingsland is a historic hot place where you can navigate stores, dine at one of those restaurants or dip in Kingsland Veterans Memorial Park. You could even stop to observe that a fleet of submarines if the year is appropriate, or take a look at a festival. Other Regional favourites include:

Historic St. Marys – This enchanting southern city, only 15 minutes from the resort, is the gateway to Cumberland Island. The city is also home to the St. Marys Submarine Museum, a massive assortment of nautical relics and handwritten histories. Experience a movie and a submarine display.

Cumberland Island National Seashore – Drive nine miles from the resort to jump on the ferry in St. Marys, the only means to reach these secure marshlands and shores. Following the peaceful ferry trip, investigate an island where wild horses roam throughout a Carnegie mansion’s ruins.

Crooked River State Park – Situated 20 minutes from the resort, this state park offers more than your pleasant nature walk. Park rangers teach regular courses on skills like a refuge – and – fire-building, and boat tours provide you with an opportunity to spot bears, manatees and dolphins.
