Things to Do Watertown
Make sure you go to Redlin Art Center, just half a mile off, to respect the treasured artwork of Watertown native Terry Redlin. You are also minutes from Watertown Mall as well as the stores on Kemp Avenue. After picking up souvenirs, check out these popular attractions:
Glacial Lakes – Outdoor fun awaits about half an hour from the resort at Lake Kampeska and Pelican Lake. The lake regions provide scenic hiking trails, boat rentals, and a number of the best fishing and hunting in this beautiful area.
Mellette House – Step back to the 1880s if you see this elegant mansion which once served as the former residence of South Dakota’s first governor, Arthur Calvin Mellette. This house is four miles away from the resort.
Bramble Park Zoo – Your kids will probably adore KidZoo and Watertown, among their most public displays at this week, that crosses 15 acres and houses approximately 500 creatures, all only five kilometres off.
